🥳WCC A are league winners!! They get to play in division 1 next year.
👏WCC B had some very close games, and the scores did not always do them justice.

🎯 2024-2025 Bury Link League 🎯
Despite propping up everyone else in the league, our Woolies team had a great 1st season in the Links League. They came up against some very good opposition and have learnt a lot.
There are some one-off competitions being played tonight, and we wish all the players taking part the very best of luck.

📣WCC Christmas Singles Competition: Results📣
With 16 entries we played a round robin, 301 best of 3. 1st & 2nd in each group progressed through to the Knockout stage.
Kathy & Harry went into the final 8 unbeaten!
Harry got himself into the final, playing 301 best of 5. He lost to Liam 3-0.
A fantastic display from our youth. A great night for the whole team 👏

To raise money for the darts facilities at Woolpit Cricket Club we are going to have a Christmas singles competition. The format will depend on entries and there will be a small cash prize for the winner.

🎯December Results🎯
The Woolies progress to the 2nd round of the 4s competition, after drawing a BYE in round 1. The B's had their closest game yet, losing 5-4 to Moreton Hall X, and the A's won a match 9-0!
A successful December for our teams, who are now on their Christmas break.

📣November Results📣
November was a busy month for all 3 teams!
The Woolies had 5 matches, and won several legs during their matches but unfortunately no overall win.
The A's had the 1st round in the knockout cup which they won, 2 league matches and the random pairs competition. Liam managed to reach the final, with his partner Carl (from Pot Black) and they won 3-0.
The B's lost in the 1st round of the KO cup, they had a close league match against Wetherden Maypole. Several of their players entered the random pairs and performed well.

🎯October Results🎯
All 3 teams were in action at the end of October, and we had a mixed bag of results.
In the Bury Links League, the Woolies lost both games 8-1, but they were closer games than the score card tells you.
In the Bury Darts League WCC A beat Wetherden Maypole 6-3. WCC B lost 8-1 to Station Hill Social Club.
