Fond Farewell After 38 Amazing Years

Sunday 12th July 2026 marked the final club night of St Edmundsbury Lifesaving Club, bringing an end to an incredible 38-year journey. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of teaching vital water safety skills and first aid treatments, helping to create safer communities and more confident individuals.

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the voluntery dedication, passion, and unwavering support of so so many amazing people—especially Jules Loader, George Maguire , Richard Pearce and Nigel Pawsey and countless others who have played pivotal roles over the 38 years. As we reflect on the memories, friendships, and achievements, we also look ahead to our final family club camp this weekend a perfect way to celebrate and say goodbye.

To everyone who has been part of this amazing club, thank you for making these years so special.
