I thought the Kyokushinkai Kanji was supposed to be verticle . When ,in the early days of the BKK We had sew on badges we were told to NOT run parralell with the DOGI edge but vertical Not on the slant . Now we see Dogi that have the caligrsphy on the slant and not vertical .

Senpai Kai Nixon had his Shodan Grading where his knowledge was tested , his teaching was tested , his techinque was tested , his kata was tested ( 90 % Of the syllabus) his stamina and drive was tested , his spirit was tested , his fitness was tested and his fighting was tested with 20 continous fights ..
He will make an exellent , Spirited, knowledgeable , and respected So-kyokushin Kuro Obi asssistsnt instructor at our Honbu .
