Walshaw Sports Club Cricket Section

Another full week for Walshaw CC, come down to support the club and watch a bit of cricket!🏏

Kicking off with Thursday we have the Walshaw Warriors away at Heywood for another T20 at 6pm.

Our Tavs also playing on Thursday at home against Edgworth CC at 6pm

Our 1st team are away on Saturday playing against Woodhouses CC. With our 2nd at home hosting Unsworth CC. Both start at 12:30pm

Our 3rd team play at home against Friends Sporting Team at 1:30pm on Sunday

Our women’s are both away this Sunday at 10am. The 1st team will play at Elton CC and our 2nd team against Heywood CC.

MATCHDAY

Our women’s first team host Bradshaw to kick off the day alongside our women’s seconds who also host Stand.

We then have our thirds who travel to Glodwick Cricket Cub in the cup as they enter the last 16.

Due to Stretford cancelling, ours devs will now play our mixed Taveners team.

LINEUPS

Due to Stretford cancelling on our Devs, the Devs will now play our mixed Tavener’s squad on Sunday 7th June at home, 1pm start.

This week for Walshaw Cricket…

Starting off the week we have our Walshaw Warriors playing A T20, at home against the Heywood Monkeys. Thursday 6PM

Saturday, we have our 1st team hosting Westhoughton at home. Along with our 2nd team playing away at Friends United CC. Both games to start at 12:30pm

Sunday we have our 3rd team playing away at Glodwick CC. Our Devs playing at home against Stretford CC. Both games at 1:30pm

Our women’s teams will both be at home this Sunday at 10am. Women’s 1st will play Bradshaw. 2nd Team to play Stand.

RESULTS - WEEK 7

Week 7 was a successful weekend for Walshaw with a win for our 1s on Saturday and both Ladies teams on Sunday. 🙌🏻 We also saw our 3rd team go head to head against the Tavs with the Tavs stealing the win! It was also great to see lots of familiar faces down at Sycamore Road showing their support in the crowd.🏏
