📍 Arc Leisure, Matlock

A Level 2 National Qualifier Open Meet with events including 50m, 100m & 200m all strokes, 100m/200m/400m IM and 400m Freestyle.

🏅 Medals for the top 3 in each event & age group
🏆 All events are heat declared winners
💷 £9 per entry
👥 Ages 9–16+

As Volunteers' Week comes to a close, we want to say a huge thank you to every single volunteer who gives their time, energy, and support to our club.

Whether you're helping behind the scenes, supporting our coaches, officiating, fundraising, or lending a hand wherever it's needed, your contribution makes a real difference. Most importantly, you help create the positive, welcoming environment that allows our swimmers to do so well.

We are incredibly grateful for everything you do. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We couldn't run our club without you!

A big thank you to everyone who played a part in making our May Marvel Open Meet such a success! 🙌

799 entries, 160 swimmers and 15 clubs 🏊 — a brilliant turnout and a great day of racing. Events like this don't happen without a lot of people working hard behind the scenes, so thank you to all our volunteers, coaches, officials, and the friends and family who came along to support. You make the whole thing run smoothly. 👏

Great to hear so many compliments about our venue, Matlock Arc Swimming Pool 🏊‍♂️ — clean, well-organised and a fantastic setting for the meet. ✅

And well done to all the Buxton swimmers — loads of PBs on the day, which is what it's all about! 🎉 All the hard work is clearly paying off! 💪

We’re hosting a cake sale this coming Sunday to help raise funds for Buxton Swimming Club. We need YOUR support! Whether you’re baking or buying (or both!), come along and join the fun. Every slice counts! All proceeds go back to our fab swimmers.

📣 Your Club Needs You — Your Kids Need You! 🏊‍♂️

It’s time to get involved with the May Marvel Open Meet on Sunday 10th May at Matlock Arc, and we’re on the lookout for volunteers to help make the day a success!

We need friendly faces to help the meet run smoothly — keeping swimmers safe, making sure events run on time, helping everyone get to the right place, and most importantly… helping everyone HAVE FUN!

⭐ Why volunteer?
✅ Support your child and the club
✅ Free entry (especially great if you have a swimmer competing!)
✅ Lunch included
✅ Lots of different roles available
✅ Help for just a morning or afternoon — no need to stay all day

It’s a fantastic way to support your kids, meet other parents, and play a part in a great club event. Every bit of help is hugely appreciated.
