Six quickest crews across all 14 first-round heats. Different races, different water — so treat it as a guide, not a result.

Falmouth A fastest overall on 13:36. Cadgwith A two seconds back, and the only crew to win their heat by less than half a minute — six seconds.

Three different boats owned the three legs: Cadgwith quickest off the start at 5:02, Falmouth through the middle at 4:11, and Padstow the only sub-four of the day at 4:00.

Our men’s squad are heading to NRC Newquay Gig Club Rowing tomorrow for the County Championships!

A huge thank you to NRC Newquay Gig Club Rowing for another fantastic Buller cup.

It has been 67 years since Buller Arthur bought the Silver Spray fishing boat from Newquay and first saw gig rowing taking place.
Cadgwith were the first gig club to form outside of the Isles of Scilly and Newquay.
Our members are very proud to be a part of this historic club 💙

This Saturday we are looking forward to welcoming Cadgwith Pilot Gig club for the annual Buller Cup Races

‼️BULLER CUP INFO‼️

Buller Cup is this Saturday 12th September! Mixed up rowing with our friends from Newquay, with pints and singing after 💙

We have a coach leaving Ruan Minor Village Hall at 2pm, returning from Newquay at 11pm 🕚

For those that are driving, I would try to get to the harbour for 3.30/4 which should be roughly same time as the bus 🚌

A promising future for the Cadgwith ladies squad! 💪🏼

The approximate final results are in from the Champs:

🚣‍♀️ A Crew – 28th
🚣‍♀️ B Crew – 73rd

We couldn’t be prouder of both crews and what they’ve achieved. These results give us a solid foundation to build on, with a busy winter ahead focused on development, strengthening the crews and coming back stronger next season. 💪🏼💙

Next up: Newquay Open County Championships - where we have 3 men’s crews entered! 💪🏼💙

EDIT: Ladies B showed up for another fab race in round 2, however a challenging first mark didn’t play into their favour on this occasion.
