Ace times in Pembroke was a fab crew. Thanks John, Robin and Tim.

Fun afternoon on the Wen Slab with Karl. Great to meet and Molly, and super inspiring to watch them cruise across, A Dream of White Horses.

An abortive trip to Scotland to climb on Mingulay. With too much swell, and a fair bit of rain on the forecast we didn’t want to chance getting trapped on the island. Big thanks to for the heads up.

Instead we had a couple of days in/around Glencoe, and are now en route to Pembroke to escape the rain/get pumped.

Can anyone name the routes?

Tryfan in the dry and Idwal in the wet. Ace couple of days guiding Neil and Tom. Thanks guys!

8 years ago today I married this total babe and teddy bear fanatic. Thanks for accompanying me on loads of rad adventures, and for putting up with a mostly absent husband this last year.

The end of a great weekend introducing a group of aspiring alpinists to some of the dark arts of alpinism through the Jonathan Conville Memorial Trust. We were blessed with great weather and managed to transform Cwm Idwal into an alpine arena.

Big thanks to for facilitating the whole thing, and to and for keeping me on the straight and narrow.

Great to be back home in Wales, and to be re-remembering what rock climbing is all about.

Here’s relieved to be at the top of Spectre on the Grochan. Even though this route was first climbed in 1947 it’s the sort of route that will always feel hard.

Tour du Soleil living up to its name. Wild place, great hut hospitality, and a great team.
