It might have been pretty crappy weather conditions today on the hill but that didn’t stop the smiles… I always find the Eryri mountains have that effect, let’s face it, who doesn’t like being in the outdoors. ⛰️ really progressive day with on all things navigation and rope work.

I’ve had a few weeks rest after a great summer season and it won’t be long now before winter conditions start to really kick in. The usual migration up to Scotland is on the cards, but there’s always that wish and hope that Snowdonia has good conditions. I love Scottish winter season but I must admit there’s something special about Eryri when it has its full winter coat on……fingers crossed hey 🤞
This picture was a brilliant day out with Micah on Glyder Fach in excellent Eryri winter conditions.

Winters coming ❄️ enjoyable traverse of Crib Goch yesterday, the mountains 🏔️ are starting to get there winter coat on with build up of Rime and verglass ice coating the rock. Further drops in temperature are sure to build on this. Enjoy the season, pack the right kit and stay safe folks.

Leading Last nights group on Scafel for the group dug deep with some difficult conditions to deal with, heavy rain, poor visibility and slippery ground was a constant challenge but with a fantastic time of 3 hours 45 minutes there work paid off, leaving them only the mighty Wydfa to complete on time and a well earned successful N3P completed. Well done team you where outstanding last night 💪✅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅

Cwfry Arête running left to right such a great route on cadair idris, being in the southern part of the snowdonia National park it’s a route less climbed than most… worth the effort though as it just keeps going with great climbing (diff) and amazing views.

TD Gap (Sev) in perfect dry conditions. Made good progress as the weather gods where on our side, in damp or wet conditions the Gap has the tendency to be as slippery as a wet seal 🦭 causing rope teams a few epics.
