Here at RAW Adventures we value the areas we work in so much, that wherever we can, we will make a donation to the charity which manages the land we operate in.
As an example, for years we've donated £1 to the Cymdeithas Eryri Snowdonia Society for every participant we've taken up Yr Wyddfa.

We'll also be doing a similar thing for Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis too.

⭐ May Highlights ⭐

While we all nurse our new tan lines and try to rehydrate, here's a few highlights from our May 2026. (How are we in June already?! This part of the year always goes past too fast)

💙 62x DofE groups on Expedition across Silver and Gold for training and qualifier
💙 17x events on Yr Wyddfa 4x on Scafell Pike and 3x on Ben Nevis
💙 12x Events fundraising for various charities
💙 2x Mountain Training courses
💙 1x Amazing group of strangers who took on the Welsh 3000s Challenge in beautiful weather
💙 208- The collective age of 3 participants in one group on Yr Wyddfa

How was your May? Did you brave the busy spots in the heatwave or stick to the quiet secret places?

2026 quick round up for Yr Wyddfa, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis

Well here we are; 6 months in already.

We've taken 719 people up at least one of the National 3 Peaks, across 70 events, who have raised well over £125,000 for various charities already. And we still have some final amounts to add to this as well!

Safe to say, it's been a great start to the year and we've all looking forward to what comes next.

If you've been on an event with us and fundraised for a charity, let us know which one and how much you raised.

Can you spot anything missing from these kit photos? What else would you carry for a day out in the mountains of the UK?

Dan gives an example of a route "Description". You might use this for your route cards on an expedition. Or when you're given a leg to navigate on a course. Did he miss anything?
