Now that the summer holidays have come to an end, we would love to thank each and every person who came on an adventure with us this summer

We loved meeting families up on their holidays, seeing some of our regular additional needs families, and meeting new families along the way

Some of our highlights include:
πŸ’¦ Taking 2 Grandparents (in their 70s) up the Elephant's bum 🐘
πŸ›Ά Taking 4 families out paddling and rock climbing for The Royal Society for Blind Children
πŸ§—β€β™€οΈ Running our additional needs sessions
πŸ›Ά Paddling over 2km one morning, to the climbing venue
πŸ¦†All the ducks we have fed this summer (they love peas πŸ«›)
β˜€οΈ Days and days of sunshine! It makes cleaning and drying wetsuits so much easier between courses πŸ˜„
πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ and Sam got to introduce his Goddaughter Hattie to the wonderful world of The Great Outdoors

We have been sent some lovely photos from the rock climbing and paddling day we ran for 4 families through The Royal Soicety for Blind Children

It was such a rewarding day and Nell, Alfie, Emrys, James, and their families, all paddled and climbed amazingly

It was a real pleasure to meet you all

End of a busy bank holiday weekend. Today we had a group from the RSBC join us for a full day of activities. Jess was running a paddling session while Sam was on the crag doing some rock climbing. It was so lovely to see everyone's confidence grow as the sessions went on. Its always so inspiring to watch visually impaired young people absolutely crushing the activities, well done everyone and thank you for such a lovely day... the weather even held off for us too.

After a rather damp start the sun came out and we had some lovely sunshine for our bespoke climbing day. We started at Lion Rock before finishing off up at the slate quarries.

I was too busy having fun climbing so didn't get any pictures so here is a older picture of me pretending to do some work.

What a stunning day to be out on a bespoke mountain day. Who knows what summit we are on?

What a fabulous day on a Family Adventure Day with the Bray Family

We started the morning off paddle boarding, where a visit to Duck Island was a must πŸ¦† We managed to stay mostly dry, until a downpour arrived 10 minutes before getting out πŸ’¦

After lunch, we went rock climbing and abseiling and stayed dry. Shout outs to Fergus (9) and Hattie (7) who did great climbing and really pushed themselves 😊

Today we had Llewelyn, Blaiddyn and mum Bethany join us for a half day walk. We decided to start in the Sychnant Pass, and headed over two summits; Allt Wen and Mynydd y Dref (Cowny Mountain)

We had a very educational time studying different types of poo πŸ’© (pony, sheep and rabbit) while on our journey, and we had great views of the Anglesey, Puffin Island, around to the Great Orme, Llandudno and Conwy itself 🏰

I will see you all at the end of the summer holidays for our planned mountain walk 😁

What a fabulous, busy day on our additional needs gorge walking sessions πŸ’¦ This video shows you why we love running these sessions so much πŸ₯°

First up we had the Whiston family, who had never been on an adventure with us before. We did lots of scrambling, plenty of swimming and climbed the Elephant's bum 🐘 Big brother Tom was ace at helping his younger brothers James and Daneil out of the top of the climb for me

Next up was Rhiannon. Rhiannon loves scrambling around, playing Carreg Plop (throwing rocks in the pools) and splashing around πŸ’¦

Lastly we had Alex, one of our regalur adventurers, who we took straight up to the big pool for ALOT of swimming and exploring πŸŠβ€β™€οΈ

Thank you all for a lovely day

It was lovely to meet you all. Enjoy the rest of your holiday up here 😊

While Sam was out rock climbing yesterday, Jess was out with Claudia, Sophie and Jessie paddle boarding

We went on a journey, visited duck island (twice) and everyone got very wet πŸ’¦

It was lovely to meet you all 😊
