July has been a standout month for the Wales Archery team, with international podiums, national medals, Dunster Archery Week triumphs, county titles and PBs, earned along the way. The dedication across the team continues to shine through every discipline.

🥈 Scott Williams
• Podium at The Masters.
• Silver in the Second Chance event.

🥇 Julie Sharkey
• 1st place WA1440 @ Deer Park.
• Chester Double WA720 (5/7/26) – 1st place.
• Dunster Week: • Won Somerset Champs
• 2nd WA1440 • 1st Albion
• Medal on Longbow Day • 1st Western
• Won the Championship Weekend with PBs both days.

🥉 Liv Morledge
• U18 Female Recurve National Bronze Medalist at the 2026 Junior National Outdoor Championships.

🥈 Rikki Teml
• Somerset Championship at Dunster – 3rd place overall, 2nd place visitor.
• 3rd place at the GWAS Regional Championship Weekend at Dunster.
• Part of the GWAS Compound Team Winner alongside Debbie Teml.

🥇 Debbie Teml
• Shot 7 out of 8 days at GWAS Dunster Week.
• 2nd WA1440, 3rd Albion, 2nd GWAS Championship Weekend, plus a Team Compound Trophy with Tockington Archers.
• Gold for Female Compound and a PB at Cheltenham Archers WA900.

🏆 Eliza Tully
• Berkshire County Champion — retained the Recurve Women’s title for the second year running.

🥇 Lily Partridge
• Under 18 Champion at JNOC.

🥈 Lily Wright
• Silver medal at the European Youth Championships.

🇬🇧 Ava Snell
• Made her International Debut for GB at the European Youth Championships 2026.
• Finished 34th overall out of 59 athletes.

🇬🇧 Amber Snell
• Supporting Ava and Team GB at the European Youth Championships in Rome.

🌟 Fflur Mai Thomas
• Double American at Audco Archers – New PB, Gold, and multiple new records (subject to ratification).
• Smashed her own Junior Shropshire records (single & double American).
• Smashed her own Welsh U21 & U18 records (single & double American).
• JNOC – 6th and 7th place over two days.

🥇 Jack Wells
• YAA Metrics Weekend Double WA70 – 2nd place.
• YAA Metrics Weekend WA900 – 1st place, 1st team, plus distance awards.
• NCAS Grand Northern Archery Meeting Double York – 2nd place.
• Achieved final Master Bowman score and earned the classification for the first time.
• Graduated with a Doctor of Engineering.
• Started first full time job as an engineering consultant.
• Underwent long overdue knee surgery and is now recovering well.

🥇 Scott Stanbury
• European Bowhunter Gold Medal.
• England Team Bronze.

June has been a phenomenal month for our sponsored archers, with national titles, UK records, and brilliant resilience across target, field, clout, and longbow. The WAS family continues to shine — and we couldn’t be prouder.

• Yorkshire Championships – 1st. • Croesoswallt Double American – 1st, claiming 50+ single and double records. • Goldcrest Long Western – 1st, claiming a senior record. • UK Masters – 1st Lady Longbow.

🥇 Debbie Teml

• 5th in qualification and 4th in H2Hs at Deer Park Archers, battling tough wind. • Female Compound Champion – Gloucestershire County Championships. • Female Compound Gold – Bowmen of Burleigh WA900, battling through the heat.

🥇 Kieran & Kevin Macey

• Deer Park 720 & H2H – Kevin 1st, Kieran 3rd.

🎯 Liv Morledge

• Somerset County U18 Recurve Female Clout Champion. • County Champion for the 5th consecutive year and highest scoring female recurve at the Somerset County Outdoor Junior Championships.

🏹 Rikki Teml

• 1st Place – Burleigh 48th Annual Open Tournament. • 2nd Place – Gloucestershire County Championships.

🥇 Jessica Lethbridge

• JAS Stage 3 (Wallingford) – 2nd in qualifiers, Gold in H2Hs. • RJD Western 50 – Gold, new PB, and a U16/18 UK Record (pending ratification).

🥇 Ava Snell

• Gloucestershire County Outdoor Junior Women’s Recurve Champion for the 4th year running.

🏆 Ioan Rees

• 1st at Deer Park 720/H2H. • 3rd at National Tour Stage 3.

🎯 Jack Wells

• YAA County Senior & Junior Championships – 2nd individual, 1st team trophy. • Meriden Summer WA70 – 9th qualification, 5th H2H. • Peacock Archers WA Weekend – 1st qualification, 2nd H2H. • National Tour Stage 4 (UK Masters) – 37th qualification, 41st H2H.

🥇 Eva – Barebow Archer

• Gloucestershire Senior & Junior Outdoor Championships – Gold, scoring 1246 points.

🌲 Sam Williams‑Baldwin

• English Field Champs – 8th place. • Cheshire Field Champs – 3rd place.
