What age do we take on at Allstyles? 🥊

We’re often asked what age group we take on at Allstyles.

Our standard starting age is 16 years old. That said, if someone is a big, mature 15-year-old, we’re happy to consider them on an individual basis.

We’ve found 16–17 is a great age to start. It gives athletes plenty of time to develop their skills, strength, conditioning and experience before reaching their early 20s, when many athletes begin to reach their physical and competitive peak.

One of our current champions started with us at 17 years old and, within three years, went on to become an ISKA Pro British Champion. So we’ve seen first-hand what can happen when someone starts young, trains consistently and develops properly.

At the moment, our classes are mixed ability and mixed gender, with beginners training alongside experienced and advanced fighters. We’ve found this creates a really good training environment, where everyone can learn from each other and develop together.

We are looking at introducing kids’ classes in the future, but for now our main classes are aimed at 16+.

If you’re 16 or over and looking to learn Muay Thai, get fit, compete or simply become better at striking, get in touch. 🙏

Jed is back out on the prestigious YOKKAO event for his A-Class debut! 🥊

It’s been amazing watching his Muay Thai journey unfold, and now he’s dropping down to 61kg for his first A-Class bout.

A huge step in his journey and one he’s worked hard for.

Let’s get behind Jed and show him plenty of support! 👊🔥

There’s something different about a good Thai boxing gym.

It becomes a place where people genuinely want to see each other do well.

You might walk through the door because you want to get fitter, learn something new or simply challenge yourself. But over time, it becomes about much more than why you first started.

You start recognising the faces and You build friendships. You find people who encourage you when you’re having a bad day and expect a little more from you when you know you can give it.

That’s what community should be.

Nobody is above anyone else - Everyone has something to learn, and everyone has something they can give back.

The atmosphere of a gym is created by the people in it.

The standards, the respect and the way people treat each other matter.

That’s why I’m proud of the community we’re building.

Because ultimately, it isn’t just about training.

It’s about creating somewhere people feel welcome, challenged and like they belong.

That matters. 🙏

Muay Thai is an individual sport, but you never get there on your own.

Having the right people around you makes a massive difference. People who push you when you need pushing, support you when training gets hard and want to see you improve.

Your team becomes part of your journey. You train together, learn together and go through the highs and lows together.

That’s what makes a strong Muay Thai gym.

It’s not just about who gets in the ring. It’s about the people standing around it too.

Strong team and Strong gym. 🥊🙏

One of the biggest things about Muay Thai for me has always been the people you train alongside.

Walking into a gym full of like minded people who all want to improve creates something you just cannot get from training on your own. You push each other, you learn from each other and when someone has a hard day, there is always someone there to pick them back up.

Thai boxing is an individual sport when you step into the ring, but you do not get there alone. Every round in the gym, every hard spar, every pad session and every early morning session is part of the journey.

That is why I believe the group you train with matters so much. Your environment shapes you. Surround yourself with people who work hard, who want to learn and who genuinely want to see the people around them improve.

At Allstyles, we have people from completely different backgrounds and at different stages of their Muay Thai journey, but when we walk through those doors, we are all here for the same reason. To train, improve and enjoy the process together.

That is what a good Muay Thai gym should feel like. A place where you want to turn up, where you are challenged and where you know the people around you have your back.

The community is a huge part of the journey. 🙏🥊

Brilliant morning of open sparring! 🙏

Lots of great rounds with different people, everyone getting involved and pushing each other.

Different styles, and different partners but all working together and getting better.

This is what it’s all about. 👊

From dreams to reality. 🏆

Years of hard work, sacrifice, discipline, and believing when nobody else did.

We’re incredibly proud of our team and everything they’ve achieved. They are proof that with consistency, resilience, and never giving up, anything is possible.

The journey isn’t over, just warming up 🙏🥊
