Due to work being undertaken by Surrey County Council at the school over the Easter holiday, there will be severely limited parking on site for the next few weeks/ no parking on site.

Access in and out will be via the gate near the long jump pit, which is single track.

If there is no parking available on site, please park considerately on Watchett’s Drive. Please do not park on the grass around the school.

Following the the Governments announcement last night.

Assuming there are no further changes to Government advice, we are planning to re-open the pitch on Wednesday 2rd December to all users.

COVID-19 – LOCKDOWN PITCH CLOSURE

In response to the Governments announcement yesterday evening, we will be temporarily closing the pitch to all users following the last booking on Wednesday 4th November, to coincide with the new lockdown until further notice. Any credit owed following the lockdown will be applied to future bookings/spring invoice.

We are aware that the FA and England hockey are currently lobbying the Government for an exemption. If this happens we will review the situation with the school.

Surrey Heath

Congratulations Team Surrey Heath!

Local youngsters showed off their new skills at the weekend at this year’s Specsavers Surrey Youth Games - following 6 weeks of free taster sessions. 🤼‍♂️🥍⚽️

A flurry of medals on Sunday meant Surrey Heath tied for 5th position in the medal table, and tied for 4th in the Gerry Ceaser Fair Play Trophy.🏅

Medal winners included boxing, judo and netball teams – and all of the team experienced a high quality festival event designed purely for beginners.🏓🏈⛹️‍♀️

More than 220 young people tried up to 11 different sports or activities as part of the scheme coordinated by SHBC, Active Surrey and local clubs.

Many of the youngsters have now committed to continuing the activities – which is fantastic news! 😄

Unfortunately, there is still a large amount of snow covering the pitch despite the mild and wet conditions. As a result following our inspection of the pitch at 17:00 today we have decided to keep the pitch closed this evening.

Our facilities assistant inspected the pitch at lunchtime today and has advise us that half the pitch is still covered in ice. Given the temperatures are not excepted to rise thus allowing the pitch to thaw and taking health and safety issues into account. We have decided to close the pitch this evening.
