🚗 TEHIDY PARK GOLF CLUB – ANNUAL CAR PARKING SPACE AUCTION & DRAW-CAPTAIN’S FUNDRAISING! ⛳

Our first official Winter League of 2026/27 gets underway on Saturday 3rd October, and following the prize giving, we'll be holding our annual auction and draw for two coveted car parking spaces!
There are two opportunities to secure your very own parking space at the club:

🎟️ THE DRAW – Purchase as many tickets as you like for your chance to win one of the spaces. £1 per go .The lucky winner will be drawn on Saturday 3rd October.

🔨 THE AUCTION – The second parking space will go under the hammer following the Winter League prize giving. Come along and get your bids in!
Can't make it on the day? No problem! You can place your bid in advance with the General Manager.
Whether you fancy your chances in the draw or prefer to secure your space at auction, it's a great opportunity to support the club.

📣 WE’RE HIRING – PART-TIME BAR STAFF 🍻⛳

Cygnets @ Tehidy Park Golf Club are looking for a friendly and reliable part-time Bar Staff member to join our team on a zero-hours contract.

Regular shifts currently available:

Thursday: 6:00pm – 10:30pm / Close
Friday: 5:00pm – 10:30pm / Close
Sunday: 3:00pm – 9:30pm / Close

❄️ From 26th October – Winter Hours:

Thursday: 6:00pm – 10:30pm / Close
Friday: 5:00pm – 10:30pm / Close
Sunday: 12:00pm – 6:30pm / Close

You will also have opportunities to pick up additional shifts as needed.

Previous bar experience is preferred but not essential, as we can provide training.

Pay: Applicable National Living Wage or National Minimum Wage, depending on age.

🎉 QUIZ NIGHT IS BACK AT TEHIDY PARK GOLF CLUB! 🎉

Join us every Thursday throughout the winter, starting Thursday 8th October, for a great evening of fun, friendly competition and a few laughs along the way!

🍽️ Food available from 6.00pm

🧠 Quiz Night from 7:30pm – £1 to play
🃏 Play Your Cards Right – £1 to play
⚡ Half-Time Speed Bingo – £1 to play

Come along with friends, bring a team or simply join in on the night.

We’ll also be welcoming guest quizmasters throughout the winter, so expect plenty of variety from week to week!

📋 The Guest Quizmaster sign-up sheet will be available in the clubhouse from Thursday 17th September. If you fancy taking a turn as quizmaster, simply add your name alongside one of the available dates.

🏆⛳ Wilfred Marks Competition Results ⛳🏆

More junior success this week, with Lucas Lawrence taking the honours in the Wilfred Marks! 👏

Following Sean’s win last week, that makes it back-to-back junior winners in our major competitions — a fantastic reflection of our developing Junior Section and the progress our young golfers are making. 🌟⛳

A fantastic effort from our Scratch League team against a very strong Carlyon Bay side, with incredibly tight matches throughout.

Chris battled hard against Sam Crocker but narrowly lost 1 down, while Alex and Max Gay couldn’t be separated after 18 holes, with Alex eventually losing on the first playoff hole.

In the final match, Tom & Lee took a 1-up lead down the last against Mark Blaber & Steve Waddell, who produced a birdie on 18 to earn a half.

A fantastic effort from all four players against quality opposition, with every match going right down to the wire. 👏⛳️
