Reflecting a few days on from the Y2 residential week at National Training Centre at The Belfry.
Without question my favourite week in education to date!
Every lecture provided a huge amount of relevant and valuable information and each was delivered with a fantastic level of enthusiasm by the expert professional. All a credit to the Association!
I am already starting to incorporate what I have learned into my own coaching and have come away motivated to improve my ability to provide a higher quality of service as a Club Professional.

Final holes of the county championship this afternoon on the Old Course
Superb display of controlled golf from to seal another Championship 🏆
Course looked wonderful and set up as a true, firm-running test of golf 👌⛳️
Working with a client on improving the way they moved the club around their body, thinking about exaggerating feelings to encourage changes that will ultimately help produce a more consistent swing. 👍

Playing the 13th on the Wandlebury course off the new back tee for the first time a few weeks ago ⛳️:
Only around 20 yards has been added but it really improves the way the hole plays - more of an angle is created for the tee shot, with the fairway bunkers being put more into play due to this, as well as it now being a bigger hit to fly past them. 💣
The hole still presents an excellent birdie chance, but a slightly firmer test than before 🐥

Although, I think I have enjoyed coaching outdoors and soaking in the sunshine just as much recently! ☀️😎

Got a first round of May on the Wandlebury course with a couple of members earlier in the week 🏌️♂️🏌️♂️
Always a pleasure to play second course at the Gogs, particularly for testing whether your tee-game is up to scratch and also of distance control on the numerous up/downhill approaches. 💣🎯
Additionally, Estate Manager, Andrew, and his team have clearly been taking advantage of the ideal growing conditions as we found the course to be excellently presented and hard to fault all the way round 👏
