This morning started with a meet-up for the Right to Swim movement — standing together for safer, fairer access to open water for everyone. There’s something special about early mornings with like-minded people who share the same passion for the water.

What an amazing day at the Festival of Chill at Jesus Green Lido

I was asked to come along with my Swimbler hats and enjoy the atmosphere of this brilliant event… but it didn’t quite end there! At the last minute I was roped into joining a relay team – and of course it had to be done in style with fancy dress hats, all beautifully made by the talented Lou Mayer.

I didn’t need asking twice to step up! The energy around the lido was incredible, full of laughter, community spirit and that special cold-water buzz.

From bringing the Swimbler hats along to suddenly finding myself in a relay team… what a fun and unexpected moment at such a fantastic event. Do you like my new hat? 👀

Swimming here brings back so many memories, so returning with Swimbler hats felt incredibly special. What began as a beautiful start quickly turned into one of those unforgettable days that just kept getting better.

Even got to swim in a relay last minute filled in for a lady that unfortunately fell ill, Loved the opportunity and wishing the lady a speedy get well.

Icy wind, Cold water, Warm souls
A reset kind of day — swim at Beccles Lido, Have to say 18 was extremely comfortable for a long swim, River dip, 6.5 then straight into the sauna to thaw out and breathe again.
Wrapped up in my unique Swimbler hat, Headed to Lowestoft where the wind was biting and the beach was wild, Love spotting another Swimbler out there braving it too
