Welcome to the official page for Wolfson College FC (WCFC) for the 2023-2024 academic year.
If you will be studying at Wolfson college (Cambridge) in the 2023-2024 academic year, and are interested in playing some football during your time in Cambridge, please do send a message to the captain (Will Oxley) on WhatsApp: +44 7378 765898 [or by email: [email protected]].
Once you have registered your interest, you will be added to a WhatsApp group chat - this will be the primary method of communicating upcoming events relating to WCFC, including matches, training sessions and social events.
This page is intended only to advertise WCFC and may not be checked very regularly, so please use WhatsApp to communicate with the captain.
MORE INFO ABOUT THE FOOTBALL:
We play in a local Sunday league, where we have regular matches on Sundays during term time. This is the competitive side of the club, and in the past three seasons we have had strong finishes in the league, and fought our way to two cup finals (unfortunately losing both).
We also have regular 'training' sessions, which are more casual small sided matches between ourselves, and this is intended for all abilities.
There are also sporadic indoor 5 aside futsal sessions, which again are on the more casual side.
