Here's what you need to know:

SWEATFIT RETURNS
WEDNESDAY'S 6pm​
SATURDAY'S 8:30am
PLUS, an optional at home workout.

We've changed a couple of things over the break, now you can go ALL IN. We will be running 8-week programmes to enable you to maximise your fitness, commit to your routine and to get better results!

SweatFit sessions now have two choices:

• PAYG or ALL IN.

Sign up to all Wed & Sat sessions in the 8-week programme. You will also receive a weekly emailed workout to complete 1-2 times at home. These will ensure you continue to progress and will be tailored to various abilities and account for any injuries.

Session 1, Wednesday 6th April.

Wow, what a year

As we head into our winter break we would like to wish all our members and followers a VERY Merry Christmas and a Healthy & Happy New Year. 🎄🤶🏾🎅🏽

From virtual sessions to face to face we have loved every second of training with you, thank you all for your ongoing support! 🙌🏽

We can’t wait to welcome you back around spring time, so until then stay tuned….lots of exciting things coming to keep you fit, strong and sweaty.🌞💪🏽

Hey SweatFitters… 👋🏽

🗓 Our last session before Christmas will be Saturday 18th December which will then be followed by a short break.
Our aim is to restart mid March but we will keep you updated on this.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a VERY Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. And thank you for your support over the last year. From face to face sessions to virtual SweatFit sessions we really do love training with you guys.

Don’t forget the following sessions will be running before we finish:

FESTIVE 50 BURPEE CHALLENGE

We’re delighted to have signed up to the Festive 50 Burpee Challenge to support people living with cancer.

From 1 December we will be taking on 50 Burpees a day to the run up of Christmas, completing a total of 1200 Burpees ! 🎄

Fun fact FRIDAY

A pound of muscle burns 3 times more calories than a pound of fat!

Muscle builds in a number of ways - to name a few:
💥 Resistance training with weights
💥 Resistance bands
💥 Time under tension
💥 Plyometric jump training

📣 Just a little reminder for the winter months…

- Bring a mat or a towel ✔️
- Gloves 🧤 (sometimes works better than a mat!)
- Lots of layers, you know the sweat will be pouring in no time 😉
And finally…
- DON’T wear your favourite pair of trainers 🤦🏾‍♀️ 👟 ✨

We try to keep ALL our sessions running no matter the weather ☀️🌤🌥☁️🌦⛈🌩❄️
So that means the class would only be cancelled if we think it’s unsafe. 🚫🌪

Research has shown stopping exercising over the winter causes:

❄️ A loss of the progress gained over time

❄️ Difficulty losing weight gained through winter months

❄️ Loss of all fitness in just 3-6 months regressing to “couch potato” stage

❄️ After just one week of not exercising, your body starts to see health compromises

❄️ Increased depression, tension and anger

To combat this, we recommend planning your training sessions so that they form a regular schedule. Training outdoors increases positive endorphin release so you’ll always feel better afterwards!
