Well based on last weekend's results, what you will get with a Nomad's match is a lot of goals...

Tough game for our L1 who lost 2-8 against Uni 3
While our L2 endured a long travel to Long Sutton to battle out a 5-2 lost.
Back to Wilberforce Road, our M3 competed in a hard fought game against St Neots 3, unfortunately for us, St Neots's experience helped them to come out on top in the end. Elsewhere the M1 traveled to Ely, with Ely running riot, a fair few players and onlookers actually lost count of the score. Though it has been confirmed it was unfortunately a 10-1 lost for the M1.
The silver lining was the M2 managed to stay unbeaten for the season as they won 5-1 against Kettering's 3s. (Top of the league with a 3 point gap so it's not all doom and gloom! Though the season is still in its early stage)

We move on and now look forward to next weekend (basically tomorrow or later today) where our L1 are the only home side and face Cambridge South 2. Though away just down the road the M2 will face Cambridge South 4. Further afield the M3 face St Ives and the L2 play at Peterborough.
No game for the M1 as they lick their wounds from a tough start to the season.

The song may be premature but here's hoping we do get back up again after last weekend's results ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Spalding 1s clearly seeking out revenge on our L2 for what our M2 did to Spalding 3 the weekend before.... whoops
While away from home, the L1 competed in another high scoring, close thrilling game, though unfortunately the result went against them this time around.
As for the men's teams, both M1 and M3 also suffered losses on the road, even if some good hockey was displayed at times.
Though well done to the M2 for remaining unbeaten with a 5-0 'victory'. Though it should be added it was a walkover thanks to most of March Town HC celebrating a wedding, congratulations btw.

As for this coming weekend:
At home our L1 face Cambridge Uni 3 while our M3 play St Neots 3.
While away from home our L2 make the long trip up to Long Sutton. Elsewhere M1 travel to Ely and the M2 make a late journey to face Kettering 3.

The L2s were dealt a tough first fixture as they made their Division 3 debut last weekend, but came away really pleased with a battling performance against Wisbech Town Hockey Club L2s, going 1โ€“0 up and soaking up plenty of pressure, before eventually ending on the wrong side of a 4โ€“1 scoreline.

Plenty of positives to take forward and lots to be excited about this season ๐Ÿ’ช Same again today! ๐Ÿ‘

Not the start they wanted, with Newmarket Hockey Club taking an early lead, but the L1s showed fantastic determination last weekend to come back from 3โ€“2 down, finding the equaliser with just seven minutes remaining! ๐Ÿ™Œ

A brilliant team performance and a fantastic result, made even more special by welcoming a number of players for their debut games for the team ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Last weekend there was a mixed bag of results to start us off for the season:
Well done to the M2 and M3 for starting off their seasons with impressive wins. Elsewhere the L1 fought hard for a well earned point against Newmarket. Condolences to our L2 and M1 who will both be hoping to bounce back this weekend.

Speaking of, for this weekend:
Just the L2 at home and they host Spalding, as the M2 game has unfortunately been cancelled due to March struggling for players.
While L1, M3 & M1 enjoy travels to Peterborough, Wisbech and Newmarket respectively.
