On the last day of the 2025/2026 season our L2s celebrated their 3rd place finish, blissfully unaware that it would lead to their promotion 😱
With several members of that team off on their uni adventures this autumn, we’re looking to add a few more players to our Ladies’ squads to help us navigate the challenges of Division 3! 💪
If you’re looking for a new club in the Cambridge area do get in touch, or come along to one of our Summer Hockey sessions on Tuesday and Thursdays, 7-8pm throughout August 🏑

Earlier this month, Nomads’ mixed team headed to St Ives for the fantastic St Ives Hockey Club’s Heroes & Villains Tournament 🦸🦹 dressed as a swarm of Minions on the hunt for our next villainous leader…💛🍌
Turns out BBQ and beers is the secret to success as a series of wins in the afternoon saw us take home the Plate! 🍔🍻
Some excellent costumes all round - shout out to Maldon Hockey Club who took home the real prize of the day, the fancy dress award 🏆 Our personal highlight was Minion vs Minion madness, which may be up there with the most chaotic and confusing hockey ever played 😂
A brilliant day of hockey in the sunshine. Thanks to St Ives Hockey Club for hosting a great tournament – same again next year?! 💙

☀️ Summer Hockey Venue Update ☀️
Due to the resurfacing work taking place at Wilberforce Road, we've made a change to our Thursday summer hockey sessions until the end of the summer.
📍 Thursdays will now be held at Stephen P***e Foundation Pitch on Latham Close
🏑 Tuesdays will continue as normal at Wilberforce Road
Please make sure you head to the right venue - check session details on Pitchero if you’re unsure. See you there!
