After a bit of incompetent fiddling about I think I have set up Earith Carp lakes Members Group, a closed group, which current members can apply to join. At least I think I have!!

For anyone planning on braving the weather for a day's fishing I understand that the road at Earith is about to be closed.

The middle gate was found wide open at 5pm today. It is vital for the security of the site that the gates are locked on leaving. Please double check that this is done. The only gate left open on occasions is the Virginia gate for deliveries. The other two should always be locked but if you are unsure give me a call.

Had a few queries about actual hours. We don't want to take liberties and have the permission withdrawn so I think it is fair to assume that fishing is allowed during hours of dayLIGHT, in other words from 7am ish to dusk which is going to change as the days lengthen. Hope this is clear.

As of tomorrow 8th January we are allowed to open FOR DAY FISHING ONLY. We will interpret that as hours of daylight. Travel is limited to the local district. We will leave that to individuals rather than list who can and can't officially come but urge people coming to adhere strictly to the rules of social contact and to use antibacterial wipes on the gates etc. We will close the toilets though as this new variant is so easily transmissible and members can probably manage for a few hours.
