ALSO, exciting news of CamJam - a new regular Tuesday night weekly session

CamJam is a long-running, musician-led jazz session in Cambridge built around a strong house band and an open, welcoming format. For over 20 years it has provided a supportive space where musicians of all levels are encouraged to sit in, explore standards, and develop their craft alongside others in a relaxed setting.

CamJam has recently moved from the Tram Depot to its new home at Newnham Croft Sports & Social Club, marking an exciting new chapter while continuing its established tradition.

Starting on Tuesday 17 February, CamJam differs from the monthly Speakeasy jazz night : while Speakeasy focuses on curated performances in a listening-room atmosphere, the weekly CamJam sessions centre on participation, open sit-ins, and the shared exploration of repertoire.

The musical focus remains on swing, attentive listening, and mutual respect, creating an atmosphere that is friendly yet musically engaged. Audiences enjoy authentic live jazz in a sociable setting, and players value the opportunity to collaborate in a supportive environment.

Run by musicians for the love of the music, CamJam continues to be a cornerstone of Cambridge's grassroots jazz community.

We look forward to seeing them - and you - for an evening of cool jazz in an intimate club atmosphere and we're proud to host this great Cambridge jazz collective. Please do come down and support them! (Remember to bring your membership card. Membership is only £15 for 2026.)
PS Our bar remains the best value for miles around!
