Who am I?
Hi, my name is Barbara, most people call me B. I have a background in psychology and worked for many years as a behavioural therapist with a wide range of clients. I have been a Personal Trainer for the last 12 years and I am also a Yoga & Pilates instructor. I am currently undertaking a Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue & Remedial Therapy with the prestigious Cambridge School of Sports Massage. I need to complete 100 hours as part of my training so I am always looking for bodies to practice on. I am 3 months away from graduating and I am currently a Level3 Sports Massage therapist.
By the end of my training, I will be a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage- https://www.theisrm.com/. So if you are suffering from general muscle pain, reduced mobility, stress related or computer aches and pain, I would love to help you. If you are training for fun or any sporty activity, I would love to help you too!
I have an amazing vitality for life and I love fitness. Some of you would have seen me at the running club attending weekly sessions. This helps me understand your passion for training and how I can help you and your body. Perhaps you may benefit from a maintenance massage regardless of whether or not you are feeling any pain or tension.
For sports people, incorporating maintenance massages into your training routine can help to loosen muscles that have been overworked and identify any problems that may be building up before they start to impact on your performance. Whether you wish to book regular sessions or come on a more ad-hoc basis, maintenance massages are the perfect choice for anyone who wants to keep their body functioning in the best possible way.
I live in Girton CB3 and I have a few slots available during the week. You are welcome to travel to me as I don’t live far, and I can treat you in the privacy of my home. I only charge half the price of a regular massage until I get fully qualified at the end of the year. The fee is £25 for an hour or £35 for a full body massage. Offer- Book 5 maintenance sessions for £100. If you would like to discuss whether a regular or maintenance massage may be of benefit for you please call me on 07769 336369 or email me: [email protected]

Important Information: I am following the Government guidelines to make sure I keep myself as well as my patients’ safe. Therefore, I only keep to a small practice with few treatments per week and plenty of time between clients. I am practicing from a spare room using a different entry door than the main one so patients can go straight into the treatment room and not the main entrance. I have taken into consideration the additional precautions the Government guidelines have announced and I have applied them all. Face masks are compulsory for myself and the client, a face shield for myself, hand washing & hand sanitiser and full ventilation and sanitation of the therapy room.

I'm very sorry to say this, but please keep watching this page for when we can resume again. Hopefully this will be soon.
In the meantime, take care and keep well!

Good morning guys!
Well done to everyone who took part in the Cambridge half marathon at the weekend. Was great fun wasn't it!
I thought that it may be a good idea after the weeks of pounding the streets and training leading up to the event that people have a chance to refresh their bodies and minds and recover well.
Therefore there will be no running session tonight. All sessions will resume as normal next week.
Keep well!
