We Are Cambridge

In April 2020, the members of the University of Cambridge Boat Clubs (CUBC, CUWBC and CULRC) voted overwhelmingly to form a single high performance rowing club for women, men and lightweight athletes to compete in the Boat Race against Oxford.

On September 1st, 2020, the official launch of the ​new ​Cambridge University Boat Club (CUBC) will take place.

Moving forward, CUBC will operate from and this page will be closed. If you don’t already, please make sure to follow to keep supporting and to keep up to date on all club news, developments, progress and events.

We are delighted to be taking part in the first ever inclusive boat race on the erg!

Meet the crews who will be competing in the 'live' virtual race on Saturday.

Bringing members of Cambridge University Women's Boat Club Cambridge University Lightweight Rowing Club and Cambridge University Boat Club the current team, alumni, Olympians and Paralympians 'together' to race for charity!

Last September Cambridge University Women's Boat Club joined Power2Inspire for a day of inclusive sport with local children and business.

It was so much fun we are back enjoying sport with them again but this time with a difference!

Open weight, lightweight, women, men, Olympians, Paralympians & world champions rowing, students and alumni....

We want to thank our fantastic Support Team!

Today we thank our Club Accountant Sam Rickaby. Sam is a key member of the team and has been supporting all three university boat clubs.

Dedicated & efficient Sam ensures smooth operations off the water. We are so grateful to Sam for everything she does for us all. It means our Coaches & students can focus on training & racing
