Welcome back dancers! We’re so excited to kick off our Summer Term and can’t wait to see all your smiling faces back at the studio.

Still riding the high from last term’s incredible show, we are heading into a busy term as our Ballet, Contemporary, Tap and Musical Theatre students will be preparing for their exams.

And there’s a brand new (and very fluffy!) member of the team… Miss Imogen’s adorable new puppy, Mags 🐾
Miss Minnie has been showing her the ropes this week, and the pair of them will be making some special appearances at the studio this term!

Spring has sprung here at Cambridge Dance Studios 🌼🌷🌺 and we’re looking forward to dancing in the sun!

We are so proud of our Contemporary Dance students who took their exams last term. We had students submit their Grade 1, Grade 3 and Grade 4 exams with every dancer achieving a Merit or Distinction!!! Congratulations to every one of you 🤩

Well done to all of our wonderful students who took their RAD exams yesterday!
A special mention to Anna who did her Grade 8 exam. Anna has been dancing with us since she was little and we are so proud of her dance journey 🫶
One more week left of watching classes before Christmas, what a fantastic way to end the term!

Jazz Foundation (ages 9 - 11) @ 12:15pm
Musical Theatre Level 2 (ages 13+) @ 1:15pm
Jazz Level 1 (ages 12+) @ 2:15pm

This weekend a group of our contemporary dance students performed at the Cambridge Poetry Festival! The festival is celebrating their 50 year anniversary, and Colours of Dance were invited to create and perform a piece based on Bottom’s Dream by Clive Wilmer.

The dancers performed beautifully, finishing our school’s year on a high! Thank you to Cambridge Poetry Festival for the opportunity.

Exam season is now over! A huge congratulations to everyone involved - we are super proud of you for all your hard work. Wishing you all a fun and relaxing summer break and we look forward to seeing you again in September!
