E of E showdown club

We played our friendly match with Coventry Comets at our place today and had a great time. A huge thank you to Coventry for coming and for being such great opponents to play with and learn from. We’re looking forward to our next fixture at our place with London on 28th June.

What a day in east of England Showdown Club events yesterday was!

First home game complete ✅️
Played against top female and Male players of the last National league!
Who along with their 3rd also amazingly great player are apart of Sussex Spitfires Showdown Club

An we even finished up in the pub for a celebratory drink for how nice the day went after!

What a set of a session that was! Bats full of power and an great serve of games all round!

We got a intense couple of weekends commimg up with our first 3 home games over the next 4 weeks!!

Starting the ball rolling with welcoming Sussex Spitfires Showdown Club this Sunday 7th and Coventry Commets on Sunday 14th. Good luck to all players coaches and referees & Keep a bell out for updates on the days events! 🏓

East of England has one player representing at the tournament this weekend for the players first tournament. Goodluck to everyone.🍀🏆🏓

Good luck to all players competing at the 2026 British Blind Sport (BBS) Showdown Individual Nationals taking place this weekend at the Eastside Rooms in Birmingham.

A huge thank you to The Primary Club for their generous support, enabling showdown to continue to grow across the UK, giving players, teams, and coaches the opportunity to compete, develop, and learn from each other.

Another great session tonight thank you to everyone for comming and thanks Lloyd for running the session and thanks to our lovely volunteers it was a great turn out.

First south league tournament away match complete ✅️

We had the pleasure of being hosted by the Coventry Commets for our first away match.

Our team was Amber, George H and Lloyd.

Results finished with us loosing 3-6 but we was chuffed with the result an many games was very tight!!
With a great skilled team as our opponents Matt, Estelle and Faz and their ref Steve.

We have all taken on some tips to work on and Lloyd has lots of session plans!!
