BRIAN CLUTTERBUCK - (July 2026) It’s with deep sadness to inform you of the passing of Brian Clutterbuck a former member of Meldreth BC, who passed away on 5th July. Our thoughts go out to Barabara and his family at this time. Brian's cremation service will be on July 23rd at 1.15 in West Chapel, Cambridge Crematorium. All are very welcome but family flowers only please.

Off to Gt Chesterford tonight for our 1st league match of the season.

Opening day roll up with 7 non bowlers trying it out.

After another meeting with our Landlords, which lasted 1.5hrs on 11th February. They have gone away to review our comments and come back to use with a revised lease. At the same time we will be report back to the full committee and Trustees at our meeting on Monday 16th. With the latest information.

We are currently in talks with our Landlords over an extension of our current lease until October 2030.
We will keep you informed of our progress.
Until then it’s bowls as normal.

JAMIE STEWART - (November 2025) It is with deep sadness that I pass on the news that Jamie Stewart, Cambridge and County Bowling Club, has passed away. In 2009 he was part of the Men’s National Triples winning side with Robert Drew and Richard Catton. Jamie also was a Junior England Trialist in 2010 & 2011. I’m afraid I have no further details at this stage. Our thoughts are with his brother Ollie, at this time.
