Yesterday I said goodbye to my Dad
I was grateful to be a pull bearer for his final trip
It was a great celebration of his life and it was sad but it made everyone smile because of the type of person he was!
It’s not been easy with me and my dad over the years but he was my dad and we shared some great memories which I will also remember!
He is now out of pain and no longer at the mercy of the horrible disease that made his life difficult! Dad was still there with his quick wit and ability to make light of everything but his body wasn’t able to keep up!
Christmas this year will be different but it will still be happy!

The last few weeks have been so incredibly hard, I have struggled to get my head round what has happened as it feels like a blur!
On the 19th of November Henry Nicholas Davis Jones joined the gang weighing 8lb 4, beautiful baby boy! So lucky and grateful
On the 8th of November my dad passed away after a good 20 year battle with multiple sclerosis which had made his life a challenge but he carried on and remained positive despite not being able to walk or eventually feed himself! He was hospitalised for the last 6 weeks with infections and came home once, he would always pull through and always keep battling but this time he wasn’t strong enough!
It’s been a very weird set of emotions as I am so sad to lose my dad and not be able to talk to him about Arsenal, not be able to hear him tell me his boring stories 😂 but on the other had I am so happy that my baby boy has arrived safely!
Life is a right old rollercoaster and one thing I have learned though all this is, let things go and don’t stay angry at anything for to long as it solves nothing and you don’t want that guilt should the worse happen
