⚽ Want to get involved in the beautiful game? Register your interest in the "FA Basic Referee Course" at the University of Cambridge and be the first to hear about newly released courses 💥

🎓 The FA Referee Course is designed to equip new referees with the key skills and knowledge they'll need to be able to grassroots matches safely and effectively. The course combines 90 minutes of online learning alongside face-to-face training, typically delivered over one evening and a full day. You’ll experience a mix of classroom-based learning and fun, practical activities on the pitch.

💼 Once qualified, you'll be in a great position to join the University of Cambridge Referee Hub and discover opportunities to referee Cambridge University Association Football League (CUAFL) matches—one of the largest University football leagues in the country!

👐 Your two hands could help save a life ✅

💙 Would you like to learn life-saving CPR skills and help make a difference in our community? The University of Cambridge is pleased to once again be running , where University and College staff and students—as well as members of the local community—are given the opportunity to learn essential emergency techniques from expert practitioners.

↪️ Taking place across six bookable sessions between 09:00 and 18:00 on Friday 16 October at (CB3 1AA), the event aims to raise awareness of how cardiac arrests can happen to anyone at any time and increase the number of people trained in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automatic electronic defibrillators (AED). The event is being delivered by the East of England Ambulance Service/EEAST Heart. Each session is 50 minutes long and combines elements of presentation, demonstration, and practice.

☝️ To ensure the maximum number of people can benefit from this opportunity, please only book one session and check your availability to attend before booking.

🚗 Parking is available nearby via Sainsbury's car park as well as on-street parking (parking charges apply to both, please check locally) or a short walk away at Madingley Road Park and Ride.
