Welcome to the home of yoga.
This was the first sculpture I saw on arrival at Delhi Airport : Surya Namaskar (sun salutation).
I’m in the right place!
And so the journey begins….

Today exactly 4 weeks after shoulder and arm surgery I did my first Downward Dog. One never really appreciates the joy of what you can do until you can’t do it.

So if you’ve slipped out of the habit of practicing, just come to the mat, set a joyful intention and start. Forget all the things you can’t do (there are loads of things my arm can’t do - yet - but I know yoga will help me get there. YET. Wherever you’re starting from, focus on what you can do, modify or skip the rest.
Trust me your body and your spirit will feel better for it.
Yoga is the living miracle in our lives.

Dante loves Christmas! My Maine C***s can’t resist the tree! 18 foot tall and 8,160 lights makes a great plaything especially when it’s in the middle of the lounge!

Stormy last day in Cefalonia watching the surf as the sun set. The wind is warm as is the Greek hospitality.

Another amazing find: Costa Costa beach club on one of zlassi’s great beaches: Makris Gialos Beach.

Early morning reflections on a wonderful week’s retreat in Ithaca.

For sure Itha108 is a luxurious spiritual home where you’re immersed in the beauty of the mountains and surrounded by the Ionian Sea. I love how I feel when I’m here.

Yesterday took a wonderful trek into the hills, the fragrance of the herb bushes released as they brushed against my legs, the sound of cow bells heralding the goats that hopped across my path.

The blistering heat of the summer has left just warm days and balmy nights. It’s mild enough to exercise without being exhausted. The crystal clear sea is at its warmest all year - great for snorkelling. Warm enough to eat outdoors but cool enough to sleep. The tourists have gone so you can enjoy the island in peace. An ideal time to visit.

Fed up with cold rain at home? fancy extending your summer, join me next year for my October retreat here. You’ll love it as much as I do.

Eating Al fresco is always so satisfying. The food just seems to taste better when one is surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Delicious vegetarian brunches and cakes cooked by and a rainbow array of glorious veggies and spices made into sumptuous dinners by our global retreat chef

I’ve never had better food anywhere

If you are feeling envious, why not book a spot on my 2024 Ithaca
retreat. Same time, same place, next year.
