😎ONE LAST TIME😎

It’s September…the summer is closing out, the temperature is cooling. You rummage in your stick bag for that gum shield you haven’t washed since April & you wonder whether your skort still fits?

How are you going to manage to squeeze a full day of hockey in every single weekend until March?

But we do & we thrive & the squads returns & all of a sudden, Friday nights are dry and the cupboards are full of pasta and garlic bread.

But now it’s March, we’ve had our fun. The nights are drawing out again and your backs just about holding it together for one last match.

So here it is ladies and gents, the final game of the 25-26 season (for most) and we couldn’t be prouder of our club. Success in all forms - juniors climbing the ranks, club members becoming coaches, new members joining the teams and even a few special promotions in there for both Female and Open squads.

St Ives HC… you’ve done it again.

So for one last time this season, we are pleased to announce our Female and Open squads for tomorrow’s lineup.

Whilst the league season may be almost over, here at SIHC we say ‘NO’ to a hockey-less summer.

And what better way to keep the spirit alive than a mixed 7-a-side tournament?

📍 One Leisure Outdoor Centre - St Ives

📅 Saturday 11th July

👯‍♂️ MIXED teams of maximum 10 players

⏰ 10am - 5pm (tbc once we have final entries)

🍔 each player will receive one hot snack throughout the day

🍺 💦 drinks and refreshments will be available at the bar

💰 £100 entry per team

Did we mention FANCY DRESS? 👗

Whilst we’re all about the hockey, a little fancy dress never hurt anyone? So bring your greatest outfits and who knows, there could be a surprise for the best dressed team 🤡

The clubhouse will be open post matches for drinks and celebrations. Bring your fun, we encourage the games and maybe a trip into town for those that fancy it? 🕺 💃

All squads put in a hell of a shift, but a special shout out must go to our F4s with their stunning 8-0 win.

Alongside this, our F2s put on quite the show for us in a thrilling 2-1 win against top 3 side - bravo 🙌
