We are excited to announce that we are pressing ahead with our plans to build a new 97m x 61m LED Floodlit 3G pitch at Cottenham Village College in collaboration with The Football Foundation.

Many surveys and meetings have taken place and reports recently received back indicate that we will be a viable site. This is great news, but we are a long way from the build. The Football Foundation aim to create a network of FIFA Quality Standard 3G artificial grass pitches across England. To be successful in securing partnership funding with them, we need to put forward a strong application for why our students and the local community would benefit from this fantastic opportunity! And for this, we will need your help.

Our local football clubs will soon be contacted as part of a working group to explore local fund raising opportunities and to support our community engagement project.

Please watch this space... we hope to issue information on the project in the near future and post updates on the Sports Centre website.

Fitness Suite Update

Unfortunately our Fitness Suite is still not operational, and must remain closed. We are very sorry for this inconvenience and we will provide further updates as soon as possible.

Astro pitch update

We are delighted to announce that our astro pitch will be open and operational from Monday 9th January 2023. Repair work has been completed during this past week and we are now able to safely re-open the facility to our students and our wider community.

We will be in contact with local clubs about their bookings for 2023 next week, and we are really looking forward to seeing the pitch in use once again.
