Do you yoga? Do you want to yoga? If so I have just the suggestion...
Yesterday I was privileged to be gifted the first private class from Lauren Barber. Lauren has recently graduated from a month long teacher training in Costa Rica but it felt like she had been teaching for years.
Starting by offering some delicious essential oils, the class (which we did outdoors in the glorious English summertime) was tailored to me and my body at the moment. As such, Lauren took me through an hour of indulgent restorative poses and used breathing techniques that calm the nervous system.
I am a very kinaesthetic learner and so (after professionally asking my permission) Lauren adjusted my poses to make them even more effective. The small matter of a block perfectly placed under my knee or a hand on my hip to encourage length in a twist helped tremendously and Lauren seemed to have a sixth sense of what my body needed before I even did.
Lauren put together a beautiful play list of music that complimented the flow of the class perfectly offering me something to bring my mind back when it wandered.
Lauren finished with the traditional savasana (co**se pose) except she used massage and more delicious essential oils to send me into a place of true serenity and surrender.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a very special and unique yoga practice. She will be releasing more information on 121s and classes in the coming weeks but in the meantime I urge you to contact her as she is available to start whenever you are.
Namaste x

I think everyone, at some point in their lives, will experience adrenal fatigue. The danger with it is, in order to keep going it makes you reach for some of the very things that trigger it... high sugar and caffeine.
In the last 11 months I have changed careers and set up two new businesses. To say I am at the peak of health would be a huge inaccuracy. Instead I am actually spiralling into adrenal fatigue. What's keeping me going? Caffeine, sugar and no more than 4/5 hours of sleep at night. Recipe for disaster!! Other symptoms I have are skin breakouts and eczema (whaaaaat I've never had this before!!)
I came across this article this morning, which was great timing. I needed to read it to realise what was happening. So I wanted to share it as I know many people who are working hard and no doubt experiencing similar symptoms.
Take care of yourselves (no one else will) x
