Sapphires Netball Club

Well, what a first match of the season! Play was strong across the whole court. Sapphires defensive unit put out an excellent performance, made even more impressive given it was a new combination of players. Interceptions in the centre third, and the incredible work rate of the centre court players provided the shooting end with valuable opportunities. Bella took an early lead but Sapphires worked hard to narrow the gap through the second quarter and brought the score back to only a 3 goal difference heading into an exciting and tight final quarter.
Despite, an impressive whole team performance, Bella would take the win by 1 goal Congratulations to April McTaggart for Bella's Player of the Match and Siobhan for Player's Player and a big thank you to newbie Lauren and returning player Suzanne. Looking forward to next week already 💎💎🏐

Sapphires season 26/27 - Seniors New player’s registration form Senior League

Sadly, it wasn't to be for S1 as we took on a fast paced and physical EPR2 last night to keep our spot in Division 3. The scoreline blew out right from the start and we just couldn't gain any ground....
However, a new chapter awaits in D4 next season and regardless of the outcome, our gals should be so proud of how we've come together during such a tough season....
Congrats to our VC Caroline Steel who bagged the OPOM and to our Vvicki Sheed-Adams for PP....amazing effort gals 💪
Thanks for those who came to support as well last night...means alot despite not getting the result we wanted
