Men’s Spring League

Back in May 12 members were split into 2 leagues and played round robin matches. Pedro Munoz Lopez and Stuart Crossan won their respective leagues, then they played off the semi finals against the second placed players. Pedro won against Craig Morris and Stuart won against Craig’s brother , Jamie.
The final was a very close contest with excellent tennis and court coverage from both players. Pedro won the first set comfortably 6-1, but Stuart fought back to break Pedro’s serve in the second set to win 6-4. The final set was tense with Pedro breaking Stuart’s serve to win the match 6-1, 4-6, 6-4. We’ll done to both players for a great final.

🎾🎾🎾CLTC Primary Championship🎾🎾🎾

Today we held our annual Campbeltown Lawn Tennis Club Primary Championship during our final session. All players were exceptional throughout and it was fantastic to see the progress in their tennis skills on show. 🎾

Huge congratulations to this year’s Winner Jamie Burns and Runner Up, Robbie Cox pictured below with semi finalists Robyn Wright and Erika Bain. 🏆

Jamie and Robbie faced off in an extremely close, nail biting final and should both be very proud of their performances! 👏

A special thanks to all the parents and carers for waiting overtime for the boys to play out their great match - I’m sure you’ll agree it was worth the watch! 🤩😅

🎾🎾🎾 Week Three Complete! 🎾🎾🎾

Well what a fantastic three weeks we have had in the sunshine! ☀️

Huge thank you to the over 70 young people who have come along to any of our sessions during the summer, your behaviour, sportsmanship and effort has been outstanding throughout. 😊

A special mention goes to all of our Primary 7’s moving up this year, you have all been a pleasure to have at tennis and are such a super bunch. We would like to wish you all the best and hope you will continue playing tennis! 🎾

A big thank you also to all of our coaches this year: Tracey Brogan, Calum Scott, Catherine Dobbie, Finlay Ramsay, Jane Scott, Colin Hanbidge and Sean McArthur. With special thanks also to committee members Elizabeth Hill and Jane Gallagher for their assistance and support too.

🎾🎾🎾 CLTC Junior Championship 🎾🎾🎾

Attention all parent / carers we are delighted to confirm that our annual P4-7 club competition will be taking place on Thursday the 23rd of July during our final Summer session.

This competition is open to all junior club members and also to anyone who has attended Summer sessions in previous weeks.

Our session will also still include our usual fun games and activities on this day too.

If your child is not already signed up for Week 3 but wishes to take part in the competition on Thursday, then parents and carers must message the page to sign up.

Thanks to everyone who came along, we saw some excellent tennis skills on show - well done for giving such a fantastic effort even in the heat! 💪

🚨🚨🚨P4-7 WEATHER UPDATE 🚨🚨🚨

Unfortunately we have decided to postpone our P4-7 session today until this Friday 10th of July.

We are sorry for any disappointment this may cause but unfortunately we feel safety must come first. 🎾

Good morning everyone,

Unfortunately this is not the summer weather we had hoped for!!! ☔️☔️

Our plan at the moment is to go ahead with the P1-3 session, using the clubhouse for shelter as needed.

We will make a decision about the P4-7 session by 10am today. 🤞🤞
