Don’t mind me, I’m just WARRIOR 2ing in the middle of a bike track on the chase! πŸ₯·πŸ»βš”️

Who else spends their free time yoga posing in random destinations?!?

I presume it’s normal right?! πŸ˜…

Finally moved in to our new house πŸ πŸ”‘πŸ‘«with .scrivener ❀️ and 🐼

To think 3 years ago all this was a dream on my goal list! πŸ’

I rewrite my goals every (mostπŸ˜…) morning and ask my self β€œwhat can I do today to take a step towards each goal”. Write it down and work through them. Writing it down takes it out of my head at makes it real!

Small steps soon lead to massive results! ✌🏻

Half monkey to full monkey πŸ΅β˜οΈπŸ’«
(Aka half split to full split)

Known as Hanumanasana in sanskritt. Hanuman - the Monkey God was the son of Vayu, the God of the Winds. He was famous for his impressive and powerful leaps, as he was able to jump over incredibly long distances.

This powerful pose requires patience and dedication to lengthening in the hamstring and quadriceps along with the lowerback and when fully exploring i found almost every muscle plays an important role in finding harmony especially the muscles around the jaw and neck.

Having beginning yoga due to lower back injury this flow is amongst one of my favorites to teach in class as it frees and strengthens the muscles in the surrounding area to take the load and support the area.

In essence without the surrounding muscles helping assist, your lower back muscles have to do all the work and as theres so much movement and sitting throughout the day its no wonder lower back is one of the most muscular problems people claim to suffer from.
