Athlete testing with the girls this week and introducing them to different performance metrics, but more importantly helping them understand the WHY behind everything we do.
With youth athletes, it goes far beyond just delivering a strength and conditioning session. Over the past few weeks we’ve also had conversations around nutrition, recovery, mindset, habits, and what it truly takes to develop both on and off the pitch.
At this age, coaching is about far more than physical development. It’s about building confidence, teaching standards, creating discipline, and helping young athletes realise their potential. Sometimes all it takes is one environment, one coach, or one opportunity for a young player to truly believe in themselves.
These girls may not remember every score from testing day, but they’ll remember how they were pushed, supported, educated, and encouraged to improve. That’s where real development begins.
I’m genuinely SO proud of this group. They want to learn, they ask questions, they work hard, and they want to excel in every area. The standards and energy they bring into every session is exactly what creates long-term success.
The goal has always been bigger than football. It’s about helping young athletes become confident, resilient, disciplined individuals. giving them the tools to chase whatever level they dream of reaching 🙏⭐️
