Also a special thanks to all the people who have given us feedback on our sessions - we work hard to give you enjoyable, free activities and it’s really good to hear your thoughts on what we are providing ❤️

We are on a break for the next 2 weeks and will be back for our next session on the 17th August.

We are so pleased to announce that we have once again received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund!

This funding allows us to continue to grow and develop and to continue providing the free sessions and activities for our community.

A lot of work goes into funding bids and we are dedicated to keeping all of our activities completely free, so a massive thank you to our team who not only go above and beyond in providing the sessions you see, but all the behind the scenes work that allows us to continue to operate successfully ❤️

A fantastic event at Heath Hayes Park today for our first summer fun session!

Massive thanks to Cannock Hockey Club and Target Sport Burntwood for coming along and providing some taster sessions of the sport they offer - you can check out their pages for more information of what they offer 😊

The weather was wonderful and we love you keeping us busy with how many people are now attending our events - we reminisced our previous events where we once had no attendees compared to over 150 children (and their adults) showing up today!

Huge thanks to Arnold Clarke Community Fund for the funding which allows us to provide completely free lunch bags and Heath Hayes and Wimblebury Parish Council for their grant which helps our sessions to run. ❤️. We don’t currently have The National Lottery Community Fund funding, but their previous generous grants have allowed the purchase of all our equipment and materials and we have fingers firmly crossed they will continue to support us 🤞

Our first event of summer is only 2 days away!

Come join us at Heath Hayes park for a completely FREE event for families. Sports coaching sessions will be provided by Cannock Hockey Club and Target Sport Burntwood, arts and crafts to have fun with and lots more!

Free lunch bags provided for children (while stocks last) thanks to funding from Arnold Clark Community Fund and free refreshments provided for all.

Can’t wait to see you there!

Our story boards are now back in actions after some repairs and cleaning with a new story for you to walk along and enjoy.

New this year is also a bench, next to each story board allowing you to rest as you complete the walk!

These benches were made by local schoolchildren and community groups who worked alongside us and Forest of Mercia to make these benches for our park.

You may have spotted some children’s artwork around the village this week. Children at Heath Hayes Primary Academy and Gorsemoor Primary School and Nursery kindly made us some posters for the Best Kept Village competition, which we were judged on today! Thank you to Heath Hayes Library, Chocolate Treasures, Heath Hayes Community Coffee Shop, Hayes Green Community Centre and Friends of Heath Hayes Park for displaying the children’s beautiful artwork.

Best Kept Village judging will be taking place tomorrow on Wednesday!

Thank you to the local resident for the recommendation to list the fruit trees that were planted last year in our Community Orchard. We now have this displayed so you can see what we have growing to produce fruit in the future ❤️
