🕊️ Remembering 11 September 2001 🕊️
Today, all of us at Cannock Chase Crematorium take a moment to remember the lives so tragically lost on 11 September 2001.
We remember the mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, husbands, wives, friends and colleagues who never made it home. We remember the families whose lives were changed forever, and the countless people who continue to live with the loss of someone they loved.
We also remember the extraordinary courage of those who responded that day, the firefighters, police officers, emergency workers and the people who put the lives of others before their own.
As a place where families come together to say goodbye and to honour those they love, we understand that remembrance is deeply personal. We know that a quarter of a century does not erase grief, nor does it diminish the importance of a life remembered.
Today, we stand in quiet reflection and extend our thoughts to everyone around the world who continues to carry the memories of 9/11.
Twenty five years on, we remember the lives, honour the courage, and hold the families in our thoughts.
They will never be forgotten❤️
