The workshop is shut this afternoon and some of tomorrow as we have staff off ill and I need to go fetch materials so please don't just turn up without an appointment

Past my Master Bowyer at the Craft Guild of Traditional Bowyers & Fletchers in the new Primitive category on Saturday 😁

Last week was busy!
First day back from holiday we started to make some Warbow shafts.

1/2" & 3/8" Poplar (Tulipwood), Ash and Scots Pine (Scandinavian Redwood).
We now have large stocks and the grain is VERY good.
Pine are 34" and Ash and Poplar are up to 36" long!

The photos are what we made Monday morning, a fraction of what we made during the week!

Heritage Longbows will be shutting down for our annual holiday Friday 26th July (5pm) and will reopen on Monday 5th August. You can still order online but we won't start to process it until the 5th August.

Got some beautiful Poplar (Tulipwood) 4" x 12"
Should make some great 3/8" & 1/2" shafts
