We currently have players that had never played tennis before to players that play to a high university standard. We plan to have two to three team training sessions a week where CCCU lecturer Dr. Jon Swain and Tom who both have a Level 3 LTA Tennis coach qualification, will conduct the team training sessions (Tuesdays and Fridays tbc). The tennis committee will run the social tennis sessions, which happens once a week where anyone with any ability can play (Sunday Sessions tbc). We currently have a men's teams and one women's team. All tennis sessions are located at Polo Farm (CT3 4AF), which is a five-minute drive from the Old Sessions entrance to campus. The facilities are of a very high standard with six outdoor artificial clay courts and three indoor Acrylic courts. Transport is provided by the Student Union to and from the venue. Finally, what would a university society be without socials on a Wednesday night at Club Chemistry! Our taster session is on Sunday 26th September 2-4pm!
