A Pump Track For Canterbury

I've had a busy few days out in person talking to people and collecting signatures, including at Barham Village Fete on Saturday. The campaign now has over 500 validated signatures!

Personal conversation are the slow-and-steady approach, but the consistent message that I'm hearing is that our young people need access to local, free and good quality facilities.

One month to the day since the campaign launched and there are over 400 signatures. Fantastic progress towards the target of 1000

Thanks to Barham Primary who allowed Oliver (9yo) to tell his fellow pupils about pump tracks at school assembly this week, and how they and their families can support the campaign to get one built locally. Fliers will be going home in book bags early next week with links to sign the petition.

Help Canterbury get a pump track - sign the petition to local council.

Oliver and I took a trip to Camden on Saturday to check on their newly opened pump track. It's tiny, but a lovely ride. There was a steady stream of people using it all day, from bikes, to skateboards, to tiny kids on scooters. A good pump track session is an amazing cardio workout - my legs were jelly after a couple of hours.
