☀️ Team-building, competition, and city running... what more could you ask for?
This morning, Coach Corks split our team up and sent them on their way! They raced across the city to meet coaches Muhammed Pangarker, Matt Corker, Alex Veale, and Tyler Oliver, tackling a variety of challenges in our beautiful community, before making their way back to the club for a well-earned Scrum Kitchen Canterbury BBQ.
A fantastic day of collaboration, communication, and healthy competition. Congratulations to Team 3 for taking the win! 🏆

Reigate Walking Rugby Festival 2026
This weekend, Canterbury’s Walking Rugby team hit the road taking a squad of 15 players to Reigate’s Walking Rugby Festival 🤩
The action packed day saw the team play six rugby matches against travelling teams but most importantly enjoy a day in the sunshine with friends, pizzas and pints!
Canterbury’s Walking Rugby Coach and Head of Community Development, Alice, said the team had a cracking day!
“I am incredibly proud of our team! Everyone gave it their all out on the pitch; working hard in defence, getting some pace onto the ball in attack to play some fiesty support lines! Above all else, it’s amazing to see the progression of individual players, their confidence grow and playing with a big smile on their faces!!!”
Winners of the festival were awarded with emphasis on rugby values rather than points scored and so we are very proud to be being home our prize for:
The team that “Had The Most Fun” 😁😁😁
A huge thank you to Reigate Rugby Club, all the incredible volunteers and hospitality for hosting such an incredible day.
Well done to all our opposition teams and thank you for a great game across the day!
