📣📣 MECHANICAL HORSE SESSION 📣📣

I have a couple of sessions available for 16th August at burstowparkridingcentre near Gatwick .

These sessions are great for really working on rider performance and helping riders back in the saddle after injury/surgery etc.

Using a combination of rider biomechanics exercises, Franklin method and neurocentric biomechanics, I can help you improve your seat, coordination, effectiveness and performance in the saddle.

Sorry it’s been quiet on here, it was manic coming up to the end of year 1 of Uni and then I’ve had clients at championships and have just had a few days off to rest and relax. Had a lovely time at Hickstead and The Game Fair, but now it’s back to work with a very busy diary.
Hope you all have a great week 😄

It’s back to starting coaching early to beat the heat! How are you all coping at the moment getting the horses done before the crazy temps?? Ive rearranged sessions as best I can and some have been changed to unmounted sessions. On the up side, it’s given me a bit of extra time for Uni work 😂.

What an incredible week it’s been! 🥂

To wrap up National Coaching Week, I’ve been taking a moment to reflect on what a huge privilege it is to do what I do. Being invited into your journeys: witnessing the breakthroughs, the "aha" moments, and the quiet wins behind the scenes: is something I never take for granted.

Coaching is so much more than just perfecting a movement. It’s about building confidence, understanding the "why" behind the "how," and nurturing that special bond between horse and rider. I am endlessly inspired by the commitment, hard work, and love you all show for your horses every single day.

A massive thank you to my amazing clients, and my fellow coaches who keep pushing the standards higher. You all make this "job" the best in the world! 💖

At the end of National Coaching Week and today is all about the "why" behind the work! 🌟

My coaching philosophy is built on a very simple but vital foundation: blending the timeless principles of classical dressage with a modern, biomechanical performance focus. It’s not just about the movements on a test sheet; it’s about the journey of the horse and rider as a whole.

For me, the priority is always a happy, sound, and willing equine athlete. Whether we are working on the basics or fine-tuning advanced work, we look at the holistic picture: rider alignment, horse biomechanics, and that all-important mental connection. 🐴✨

Thinking outside the box and trusting the process allows us to find solutions that truly work for the individual. There is nothing better than seeing that "lightbulb moment" when everything clicks and the partnership feels effortless!

What is your own personal riding philosophy? I’d love to hear what drives you in the comments below! 👇

Definite proud coach moment! 🌟

It’s Day 5 of National Coaching Week, and today is all about celebrating the incredible progress of my clients. There is honestly nothing more rewarding than watching a rider’s confidence bloom. Whether it’s nailing that first lateral movement, finally finding that perfect balance in the seat, or simply overcoming a mental block that’s been holding you back: seeing those "lightbulb moments" is exactly why I love this job!

I am so incredibly proud of the hard work, commitment, and grit my riders show every single day. Coaching isn't just about the technicalities of the horse; it’s about the personal growth and the strengthening of that unique bond between horse and rider. Watching you grow in skill and self-belief is the ultimate reward.

To all my clients: thank you for trusting me with your journey. You are all amazing! 🥂💖

Day 4 of National Coaching Week! 📣 Did you know some of the biggest breakthroughs happen out of the saddle?

While we love riding, unmounted coaching is where we dive deep into the "why." Whether it’s video analysis to spot tiny details or mindset strategy for your next show, this time is invaluable! 🧠✨

As a BD Accredited coach and a Centre 10 Advanced Coach, I’m all about a complete performance solution. That means looking at the rider as an athlete. From confidence building to understanding the mechanics of your seat, looking at the bigger picture often leads to those "lightbulb" moments! It’s all about being committed to the process, both on and off the horse.

I’ve been so inspired by my clients lately who are diving into their theory and mindset work: it’s making such a difference to their results! 🌟

Who would be interested in a dedicated mindset or performance analysis session? Let me know in the comments! 👇

I have just a couple of unmounted session slots left for July, so drop me a message if you want to get one booked in.

It’s Day 3 of National Coaching Week! 📣

Why do coaching qualifications matter? To me, it’s about so much more than just a certificate on the wall. It’s about a commitment to the horse, the rider, and the sport we love.

Being a British Dressage Accredited Coach and a BHS Accredited Professional Coach means I’ve undergone rigorous assessments to ensure my technical knowledge is where it need to be to help you. But it’s also about your peace of mind. Holding an enhanced DBS, current First Aid, and Safeguarding certifications: alongside full insurance: means you can focus 100% on your training, knowing you’re in a safe, professional, and supportive environment.

Whether we are working on pushing on to the next level or preparing for your next competition, that foundation of professional standards allows us to push boundaries safely and effectively. Trusting the process is always easier when you trust the credentials behind it! 🌟

How important is it to you that your coach holds professional qualifications and up-to-date certifications? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments! 💬

It’s Day 2 of National Coaching Week, and today is all about the magic behind the scenes: the coach-rider partnership! 🤝✨

Coaching is so much more than just giving instructions from the side of the arena. For me, it’s about building a foundation of absolute trust and open communication. It’s a journey we take together!

Whether we’re working on rider biomechanics or polishing a test for the next competition, my goal is always to create a supportive space where you feel confident to try new things, learn from the wobbles, and celebrate every single win. As a BD Accredited coach, I’m not just there to watch; I’m there to listen, adapt, and help you find that unique ‘click’ that makes the partnership with your horse truly shine. There is nothing better than seeing a rider’s face light up when a plan comes together! 🐴💖

I’m so proud of the amazing community of riders I get to work with every day. You all inspire me to keep learning and growing too!

I’d love to hear from you: what do you think is the most important quality in a coach-rider relationship? Let’s chat in the comments! 👇
