Just a reminder that you MUST have bought your membership and have signed up for the session (which is now full) in order to train tonight.
If you have not bought your membership, and/or you're not on the sign-up list for tonight, you will not be given access to the session.

Hi Swimmers!

Starting from this week, we will be holding landtraining on Monday’s from 7-8pm at Featherstone dance studio (above Woody’s). Both competitive and non-competitive members are welcome to come and along and join in! Hope to see you there.

We will be checking that people have bought their memberships and that they have signed up for the session. So please make sure you have done both of these things before the session – otherwise we will have to turn you away (which we don’t want to do!).

The swimming hats have also arrived, and we will be selling these for £5 at training. Please bring cash if you want to buy one, as we have no way to take card.

Hi swimmers!

Just a quick reminder that Time Trials will be held TONIGHT 7:30-8:30pm at Kings School Recreation Centre. If you want to be in the competitive team, come along to try out! No need to sign up. See you then!

Hi everyone!

Taster sessions will take place this Tuesday 28th September and Tuesday 5th October at 8:30-9:30pm. Below is a link to the sign-up sheet for these sessions. Please only put your name down for one of the dates, and state whether you are interested in the competitive or non-competitive membership (just so we have a rough idea, you can change your mind later). If the sessions become full, we will try and arrange another taster session, so you all get a chance to try the sessions out for free before deciding if you want to buy a membership or not.

We swim at the Kings School Recreation Centre (1 St Stephens Road, Canterbury, Kent, CT2 7HU). We offer a walk down service to show you how to get to the pool – meet us outside The Venue at 8pm. If you live off campus and would prefer to meet us at the pool, that is fine. However, the road outside of the Centre is closed next Tuesday 28th September, so you will not be able to park in the Centre car park if you are driving.

The Centre still has some rules in place to try to minimize the risk of spreading Covid. Please do not attend the session if you have any symptoms or have tested positive for Covid, or if you have been in close contact with someone who has Covid. Do not enter the Centre until 5 minutes before the session starts – if you are meeting us at the pool for the sessions, please wait outside. Arrive swim ready with your swimwear on underneath your clothes, and ensure all belongings are placed in lockers – not left on benches. The Centre also still asks for people to wear masks upon entry, and to check in to their Track and Trace.
