Great 2nd runout for Essex Bishops XV after a 6 year hiatus! Good competitive game against Canvey Island RUFC, ending 21-14 in favour of the hosts. New faces joined a few old stagers to rejuvenate the Brethren. Thanks to Gary Desmond and all at CIRFC for inviting and organising.

On a cold and misty Sunday morning, three Bishops were spotted at Harlow Rugby Club as the U16's took on Saracens Amateur Rugby Club in a friendly fixture.

In a quiet village, outside a quaint little pub, Kangaroo Court was held early this morning. In the dock was Bishop Rinder being charged for impersonating a sitting Judge by Bishop Juliet Bravo aka Bishop Scouse and was heard by Mr Justice Bishop Juggler. The Judge's Chauffer aka Bishop HHH tried to give evidence, but he only incriminated Bishop Rinder more. Bishop Non-Kicking Knapp acted as a passing Sailor to test the true identity of Bishop Rinder. A big thank you to the Landlord of The Ferryboat Inn North Fambridge, who catered for us rather well.

News Flash : Bishops Chef and Tuck aka Gordon Maxwell, Mick Low and especially Chairman Lewy Walsh of Runwell Wyverns RFC together with other club members raise £660 on a quiz night for Harvey Harvey Harvey's Go Fund Me page that has now tipped north of £36,000 !!

So today myself (Bishop Juggler) and Mat Kelley (Bishop Smelly Kelley of Arlow) met up with Bishop Harvey Harvey Harvey to present him with his favourite Chocolate and Orange Easter Egg ! With big thanks to Brad Stone (Bishop Pebbles) for pointing out H for Harvey, M for Mat and Ars for Juggler 🤭🤣

It's time for a big "Bishops Bear" hug from "Sofia" as he arrived safely into her custody today ! Sofia and her parents are so grateful to everyone for the kindness, generosity and support given to them over the last few weeks and have sent this lovely smiley photo to share and say "Thank you Bishops, you're the best" !

With the fantastic generosity of the Bishops, Friends and Family members, we have now raised a staggering £1675. We have been asked to distribute the funds by "Sofia" and so far £550 has been donated to The Little Princess Trust and £500 to Maggie's London where the family are able to spending their days together at the The Royal Marsden - Sutton We await further instructions for how the £625 balance is to be used !
