Hockley Woods parkrun

This week 200 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 23 were first timers and 16 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 22 different clubs took part.

The event was made possible by 25 volunteers:

Hockley Woods parkrun started on 7th February 2015. Since then 12,521 participants have completed 90,800 parkruns covering a total distance of 454,000 km, including 14,323 new Personal Bests. A total of 1,042 individuals have volunteered 10,531 times.

Ideal running conditions this morning, with the woods just about to show their Autumn colours - Will be fantastic out there in a few weeks time.

As always a lot of happy faces out there, if it was your first time with us I hope you enjoyed the rolling nature of the course, and the photos attached.

Well this is awkward - it’s Friday and we don’t have enough volunteers yet to ensure our parkrun goes ahead tomorrow- can anyone else help please otherwise we will have to cancel ?
We need four more volunteers, please.
