The picture on the left was a few months after we started working together. Her first ever bootcamp with me!
The picture on the right was this week❗️
I cannot express how much Tasch has grown and changed in this last year - it has been so rewarding to see!
She now oozes confidence in the gym and she’s looking great too🏆
HOW DID WE DO IT?
Nothing special. 2 Gym session per week, a class, some consistency and a tidy up of her diet.

THIS IS LUISA!👏🏼
(I’ve been so excited to show you this)🤩
Lu has made a silly amount of progress in the last year or so. I have pushed her to do some SCARY things but she has come out on top every single time!
THE CLASSIC TRANSFORMATION. By giving Lu a protein target, step target and nailing the fundamentals in her 1-1 sessions, she has transformed her body got into an unreal shape!🤩 The picture says it all!
The last 8 weeks or so, we’ve been prepping Lu to head out to Thailand. She wanted to drop a bit of body fat and get a bit more lean.

I’m really proud of Lu, not just over the last 8 weeks but over the last year!! Although I’m enjoying my lie ins at the moment, I can’t wait to get back to it and set some new goals 😯🦵✅

THE MOST VALUABLE LESSON I’VE LEARNT OVER THE LAST 12 MONTHS…
The first 2 years that I started Personal Training was quiet. I was finding my feet, trying to grow and find my space in this industry.
I HAD A LOT OF TIME TO TRAIN MYSELF.⏰
The last 12 months, I started to get to the position where I could take on more and more clients. This brought its own challenges!
I’M NOW REALLY BUSY.
So where am I going with this?
Well, you guys are busy. You have jobs, you have lives, kids, social lives, wives, girlfriends, husbands etc…
SO I NOW KNOW HOW HARD FINDING TIME TO TRAIN CAN BE.
I KNOW HOW EASY IT CAN BE TO JUST SKIP A SESSION.
But I’ve learnt…
I’ve learnt ways to get the most out of my training. I’ve found ways to make my training efficient and not do more than I have to so that I can carry on with a busy schedule…
This WILL sound familiar.
“I HAVEN’T GOT TIME FOR THE GYM” or “I HAVEN’T GOT TIME TO TRAIN”
I try to not buy this excuse anymore.
It’s not that you don’t have time… you just think you have to do more than you actually need to 💪🏻

SOCIAL MEDIA IS A FUNNY PLACE🥲
A place where within two scrolls you can get TWO completely opposite messages from TWO different accounts on the SAME topic!
If you’re like me, you’ll follow a few fitness and PT accounts. All of these accounts have their own messages, their own beliefs, their own fitness strategy’s and workouts AND their own motivation for posting…
THIS CAN BE CONFUSING!🤯 it’s confusing enough for someone who knows what they’re doing… IMAGINE IF YOU DON’T!
IT CAN FEEL LIKE LOTS OF NOISE🔊
It’s hard to know who to trust🤔
My motivation for posting content has always been to HELP YOU! Normal people get to their goals in the most efficient way and healthiest way🤝🏼
Fitness and social media can be a tough place with all the different messages flying around.
WHAT’S MY ADVICE?
I let my results and my clients do the talking.
FOLLOW THE PEOPLE WHO HELP REAL PEOPLE. They’re the people who’s message matters. Because chances are they’ve probably been where you’ve been and know exactly how to help YOU!
UNFOLLOW THOSE WHO DON’T!

GETTING BACK ON TRACK🙃
So we’ve had a busy few weeks…
Pancake day✅
Valentine’s Day✅
Lots of food, lots of extra calories and probably very little exercise…
The cardio you did on Valentine’s Day probably wasn’t long enough to offset the pancakes eaten the day before 👀🤣
It’s time to refocus and get back on the horse🐎
Summer is just around the corner and so are your summer holidays. There will be people who will make good decisions now so that they can feel happy and confident come summer time…
And then there won’t. There will be people wishing they’d made a change now 🤷🏻♂️
Which one will you be?

GOAL SETTING MADE EASY…📝
Everyone has big goals. I have mine, you have yours. The trouble is that our big goals are years away.
If they’re not years away then they’re not big enough… set bigger goals.🥲🤝🏼
EACH WEEK I SET MYSELF LITTLE WEEKLY GOALS THAT I HAVE TO HIT.
These targets are small targets. Manageable and achievable.
This week:
1. 1 x squat session 🏋️♂️
2. Play snooker with my dad🎱
3. Train 3 times.
That’s it.
I’ve not put any pressure on myself. I don’t have to hit any specific numbers or do them at a certain time. I JUST HAVE TO DO THEM
Chances are that I’ll probably do more than I have to.
EVEN BETTER.✅
Sometimes your big goals are overwhelming. But little weekly targets that add up over time don’t seem so daunting.
My big goals will always be years away… but every time I tick one of my smaller goals off my list, I feel one step closer!
It’s Monday, so set yourself some weekly targets🤝🏼

STARVING YOURSELF WILL HELP YOU LOSE WEIGHT‼️
This is exactly what I’d say to you if I didn’t care about you or your health😯
Unfortunately, I do care. And starving yourself is NOT the way to go.
Why?
FOOD IS FUEL.⛽️
Run your car on empty for a week and see how far you get…
You HAVE to eat.
By not eating, you only set yourself up to fail…
You’re going to be able to do it for a day or two and then CRAVE all the food you’ve cut out and probably consume double anyway.🤦🏻♂️
I always encourage my clients to be in a SLIGHT deficit but definitely not one where they feel like they’re STARVING!!!
If your coach is STARVING you, get a new coach🤝🏼
Chances are they don’t care about you, they just care about their progress picture in 6 weeks time👀

PINCH PUNCH FIRST DAY OF THE MONTH
(No returns)🐇
January is done. “New year, new me” period is over for another year.
In reality, January is the easy one to get up for. There’s a buzz and excitement around getting into shape and changing bad habits. Motivation was high!
BUT FEBRUARY IS JUST AS IMPORTANT!
All the hard work you put in during January means NOTHING if you don’t commit to February! The next 4 weeks really are as important as the last 4 weeks…
DO NOT GO BACKWARDS. This is where motivation disappears and discipline kicks in!
Keep that ball rolling!

I AM INVESTED IN YOUR PROGRESS🤝🏼
Personal training is PERSONAL. I care a lot about the people I work with. This is why I get the results that I do!
I have a good relationship with my clients. We sometimes joke that I’m a therapist/ trainer/ water bottle filler/ joke teller and so on…
Which is how it should be.🤣🤣
I see some of my clients more than I see my family so we become really close - and for a lot of them, I’d call them friends…
They may not say the same after a blast on the Assault bike 👀
There’s no real motivation or education message behind this post other than a thank you.
Thank you to my clients that make my job really fu***ng enjoyable.🤝🏼
Without them I’d be doing a job I hate and probably skint so it’s a win win I guess 🤣

IT ISN’T ALWAYS GOING TO GO TO PLAN!
I spoke to a client this week who had come off plan for a couple of days. They were a bit worried to tell me because they thought I might grill them about it.
OBVIOUSLY I WOULD NEVER GRILL ANYONE ABOUT THAT🤣
I’ve got enough skin in this game to know that things aren’t always going to go to plan!
I work with HUMANS… not robots. We have good days, bad days and everything in between. YOU HAVEN’T FAILED IF YOU MESS UP FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS!
I HAVE BAD DAYS TOO!👀
Life happens, birthdays happen, weekends happen and unexpected things pop up. It can’t be helped… all these things affect how we exercise, when we exercise, our diet and our mood!
SO WHAT DO WE DO?
Be open, be honest, it is what it is.🤝🏼
We get back on track when we can!
It’s not the end of the world. We dust ourselves off and we go again.
