Hello all. Our usual Saturday morning venue has gone into liquidation. We will be moving around venues while we find a more long term Saturday morning venue. If we have any kendoka from other dojos looking to visit please contact me or a member of the club to check where we are having keiko. Thanks Morgan

Hello all. Just a quick reminder that there is no keiko this Saturday (14th of September) as the hall is unavailable.

31/07/2024

There will be no kendo session on Tuesday 6th of August because of an event at the cricket stadium.

Keiko is on as normal this Saturday morning 9-11. However because of the bank holidays the venue does not open until 8:45. So don’t arrive too early.

02/01/2024

The usual Saturday morning keiko isn’t running this week because of the kangeiko running all weekend. But don’t panic, you can still book to attend the kangeiko sessions.

Akai Ryuu will be holding a new beginners course starting Tuesday 16th of January. There is still time to book on. For more info please contact Morgan on [email protected]

Just a quick reminder that the first keiko of the year is on Tuesday 4th of Jan at WIS Sophia Gardens. Usual set up in terms of masks, visors in men and lateral flow tests. We will however have the hall available from 07:30 pm as the juniors class is starting back the following week. The plan is to have kata 07:30-08:30 then the normal bogu session.

See you there

KEIKO CANCELLED

Hello all. Apologies for the late notice but we’ve had to cancel training on Tuesday 21st. Numbers were looking very low for various reasons so given the situation we’ve decided to cancel the session. We should be back to our normal session on Tuesday the 4th of January. Have a merry Christmas and a happy new year

Hello all

As the mumeishi 3 taikai is taking place on Saturday 20th of November can I just check who is planning to attend the usual Saturday morning keiko. At the moment I believe it’s Morgan and Ellis.

Thanks
Morgan
