Join us for a special Bharatanatyam Recital!

We’re so proud of our dearest Kaavya, our first student, to complete her arangetram and now a successful lawyer. Despite her busy career, she has kept her passion for dance alive.

This Saturday, Kaavya will perform her first recital in India in Palakkad.

We would love for you to join and support her!

Two talented dancers from Samarpan had the wonderful opportunity to perform today at the Merthyr Valleys Homes Annual Members Event. The performers Ann Sunny and Nithya Menon showcased their remarkable artistry with classical Indian dance performances. Ann performed Durge Durge, a powerful ode to Goddess Durga, embodying grace and strength through her movements. Nithya captivated the audience with the Kalinga Nartana Thillana, an energetic and rhythmic dance portraying Lord Krishna's dance upon the serpent Kalinga. Both performances beautifully highlighted the richness of Indian culture and classical dance.

We would like to thank Taryn from Merthyr Valleys Homes for her unconditional support🥰🙏

Our dear student Liz Johnson performed Madhava Maamava at the St John’s medical school reunion. This piece meant a lot to many of the older alumnae who felt the ragam brought back old memories of family and home. The event was held in Liverpool on the 27th of July.
