Over the weekend, a group of us completed one workout on the hour every hour for 12 hours for fundraiser for .
All of the workouts had a female theme, which there are plenty in CrossFit! There was a mix of female hero workouts and the classic benchmark workouts.
Someone suggested that we do this once a month. Absolutely no chance!!
Great experience none the rest and the community at was second to none all day!
Well done to everybody who came, even if it was for one workout. You killed it! ✌🏻

She Lifts is back!
After the success of our 6-week summer program, we’re doing 3 sessions over the Halloween half term break.
Tuesday 28th, Thursday 30th and Friday 31st at 10:30am.
Expect to learn weightlifting, gymnastics and metabolic conditioning. 🏋🤸♀️
This is aimed at girls ages 13-15 who want to train in a supportive, non-judgmental environment to get fit for life and to improve at their sports!

I’m launching a new 6 week class at CrossFit Cardiff!
This is aimed at 13-18 year old females who want to get strong, fit and improve at their sports. It’s suitable for absolutely any ability.
This is being launched to break the barriers of fitness to young females. As a teen in school, I often skipped PE, usually down to peer pressure of being made fun of or being ‘uncool’ and sweating going back to class. This doesn’t affect males in the same way.
These will be CrossFit based classes. Each week will have a focus on a weightlifting/gymnastics movement where we will break down the skill and apply this to a workout.
Classes will be limited to 10 to ensure the quality of coaching.

I’ve been chatting with a lot of people lately who’ve have been struggling with motivation recently when it comes to their training. Especially since after Christmas.
I’ve been feeling the same. I’ve felt unusually fatigued, picked up niggles in my knee and shoulder and I’ve hated the feeling of intensity.
Butttt you can either feel sorry for yourself or you can choose to take actions to get yourself back on track.
These are some things I’ve used to get myself out of that rut and back on track!
